1. What gaming elements provide users the learning content and how? Looking at gaming literacy from the perspective of game playing, is equivalent to reading according to the article, and game designing would be equivalent to writing or creating. Students are using these new literacies to encode and decode information and meaning through non-printed text, such as animation, music, games and videos. The younger generation today are not simply playing games but learning and fine tuning a brand new skill set that will be quite valuable to them in later years, living in the 21st century.  
Taking the game CANDY CRUSH as an example. 
TEXT - Found throughout games, giving instructions, hints, warnings. Students must be able to read these text in order to be successful in completing games. In Candy Crush, you will not see much text throughout the game. The instructions are at the start of the game and that is it.
VISUAL-GRAPHIC ELEMENTS: Severs as more clues throughout games, can includes avatars, time capsules, and other various screen displays. In Candy Crush, you can see all of the levels you've yet to complete, giving you a glimpse of whats ahead. There is also a count down to when your time will run out.
AUDIO ELEMENTS: Candy crush has a tremendous amount of audio elements, when you've lined up the matching jewels correctly it will have celebratory sounds and this can be found throughout the game

2. What is the goal of the game? The goal of a game will be different for each game you play, but following the specific set of rules for a particular game will help you to reach the end goal of that game. The goal for candy crush is advancement to another level.            

3. What are rules of playing this game? Gaming literacies is posited in a specific context, whereas new literacies encompasses a broader set of tools or skills that must be integrated over a set of specific contexts. In Candy crush the rules are very simple, line up the correct colored jewels in the fastest possible time and clear the board.

4. Does this game have any scenario design? Games can encompass scenario design or no scenario at all such as in candy crush or they may include fabricated embedded in curriculum-related content. 

Candy crush is purely for entertainment. The best type of design will not only be entertaining but educational and informative.
Educators should select a game consisting of scenario design and 
embedded in curriculum-related content as it will encourage learners to study the subject, 
helping them gain knowledge and understanding of the game scenario and in many games gain knowledge
 of real-world situationas we read about in the restaurant game.
